Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Select, plant, and care for a variety of flowers, trees, shrubs, and other plants
- Plan and design garden layouts, considering factors such as aesthetics, climate, and client preferences
- Evaluate soil quality, amend soil as necessary, and ensure proper drainage for healthy plant growth
- Trim trees, shrubs, and plants to promote growth, enhance appearance, and maintain shape
- Implement pest management strategies and weed control measures to preserve the garden’s health and vitality
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, provide recommendations, and ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications and Skills Required
- High school diploma
- Able to pay strong attention to detail
