Job Description
Storekeepers play a pivotal role in managing inventory, overseeing stock levels, and facilitating smooth transactions. As a storekeeper, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing products within a retail, warehouse, or industrial setting.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming products by ensuring accurate quantities and quality
- Arrange products on shelves or in storage areas
- Process customer orders, pick products from shelves, and prepare items for delivery or purchase
- Maintain detailed records of inventory levels, transactions, and discrepancies
- Assist customers with inquiries, provide product information, and ensure a positive shopping experience
- Monitor stock levels and reorder products as needed
- Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean and safe driving record
